Tindari is a small city in the province of Messina.
Its famous archaeological area consists of:
The Greek walls.
The Greek theatre .
The Basilica, for public meetings, traced back to the end of the Imperial Age.
The Baths and the wonderful mosaics, such as Trinacria, the bull and the pilei of Dioscuri (symbols of Tindari).
Visit the big Christian Sanctuary of Madonna Nera, whose eastern origins statue dating back to the 20th century is worshipped by million of people. Tyndaris is situated on a bold and lofty hill standing out as a promontory into the spacious bay of the Tyrrhenian Sea. At the foot of the promontory there are white beaches like a little lagoon.
