Grande Albergo Maugeri. Mozia
Mozia, nowadays called Saint Pantaleo, is one of the four islands of "Riserva Naturale Regionale" of Stagnone Laggon of Marsala. Founded at the end of the 8th century AD, it was one of the most important Phoenician colonies of Mediterranean. It was destroyed by the Greeks and never rebuilt. Giuseppe Whitaker, owner of the island, discovered archaic items in the early 20th century. Nowadays his house is a museum.
