Gole dell'Alcantara form a deep canyon where you can see basaltic colonnades that can be reached on foot or by a lift. At the gate you can rent fisherman dungleers to avoid bathing in the iced waters of the river. The view is fantastic: black geometric figures go up towards the sky and form irregular drawings thanks to the light of the sun. Fluvial Park of Alcantara was founded in 2001 and it's possible to book guided tours. You can walk in the river from May till September from its 50th to the 200th meter.
